Cold reading works by gathering information through the conversation itself — through the seeker’s verbal responses, their emotional reactions, their body language, and the details they volunteer when asked open questions. A skilled cold reader builds a picture of the seeker from the seeker’s own outputs and presents it back as revelation.
There are two specific features of the genuine Nadi confirmation process that cold reading cannot explain.
The first is the structured yes and no constraint. The genuine confirmation process allows the seeker only yes or no responses. They do not elaborate. They do not explain. They provide no information beyond confirmation or denial. A cold reader working with only yes and no responses — without being able to ask open questions, probe emotional reactions, or invite elaboration — cannot build the specific picture that a genuine Nadi reading produces.
